Outstanding Community Contribution in Landscape Preservation
Kathleen led the effort to recognize and stabilize the Williams
garden, an historical garden in Palo Alto. For this effort she was commended by the Palo Alto Stanford Heritage (PAST) in 1997 by this award.
This PAST award is significant in itself, but even more so when noted that PAST had never before acknowledged efforts for landscape preservation. This is discussed elsewhere on this site under "IN THE NEWS", and "PUBLICATIONS".
